Zoë is currently a Student-at-Law at Resolute Law Group and assists the lawyers at the firm with a wide variety of tasks. Being a Student-at-Law is a bit like an apprenticeship and only begins after completing a law degree as well as being confirmed by the Law Society to be a suitable candidate. Zoe advocates for clients under the direct supervision of a principal lawyer.

Zoe aims to support Resolute Law Group’s clients by helping them understand their options and working with the lawyers at the firm to bring about practical successes. She strives to assist the lawyers by providing accurate factual analysis and legal research to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients. She is a strong advocate and thrives on providing creative solutions.

In 2021, Zoë obtained her Juris Doctor – a law degree – at the University of Calgary. Previously, Zoë completed two undergraduate degrees concurrently: a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Studies. While at school, Zoë volunteered with the Cochrane RCMP.

Zoë has also volunteered with Pro Bono Canada to assist low-income individuals with obtaining legal advice and participated in the law faculty’s mooting program. She developed skills in advocacy and negotiation that help her to advocate on behalf of clients.

Zoe is originally from Alberta and enjoys researching her Metis heritage. Outside of work, Zoë actively competes in equestrian showjumping in prominent shows in Alberta and B.C.
