Simran is a litigation lawyer and joined Resolute Law Group in 2023. She is involved in all areas of the practice including personal injury, corporate and commercial litigation, as well as professional liability and employment matters.
She understands the complexities of the law and the need to develop personalized strategies for each client. Simran’s top priority is advocating for her clients’ interests while providing realistic and practical advice. Simran has experience in alternative dispute resolution as well as litigation and experienced transactional work in her articles.
Simran graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce, concentrating in Accounting in 2019, and obtained a Juris Doctor from Bond University in 2021. Prior to law school, Simran worked at a big four accounting firm. She uses this background to better analyze combined issues of finance and law and has a deep understanding of the economics of legal claims when representing and advising clients.
As an active participant in the legal community, Simran is a member of the Calgary Bar Association, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (West) and the Association of Women Lawyers (Calgary).
Simran is a proud Albertan who came to Canada when she was a year old and has lived in both Vancouver and Calgary. In her spare time, Simran enjoys fine and not-so fine dining, reading historical fiction, and showing off her dog, Rover.
Simran is multilingual and can serve clients in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
