Kay is a litigator who advocates for clients in the areas of personal injury, commercial litigation, and employment law. Kay is dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of her clients by providing comprehensive, clear, and accurate advice, supported by thorough legal research and analysis. She appreciates that navigating the legal system can be intimidating for many, especially when a person has been injured or finds themselves involved in employment or business disputes. Kay works to help her clients understand their rights and entitlements at times when they may feel powerless.
Kay grew up in Calgary and obtained her Juris Doctor in 2019 at the University of Ottawa. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2020 and has gained experience working in various areas of commercial litigation. Kay has successfully represented clients in both the Alberta Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and is experienced in achieving resolution outside of court through mediation.
Outside of her legal practice Kay enjoys watercolour painting, needle-felting, and cycling along the Bow River.
