    Initial Consultation

In injury cases, we offer a free first consultation to evaluate your case. This allows you to understand your legal position and options and decide whether you want to proceed; without worrying about getting a bill for that first meeting.
    We Invest in Case
In injury cases, we cover the necessary expenses that arise, such as obtaining medical records or expert opinions. The disbursements are then recovered from the settlement if we win. This approach helps ease your financial burden during what is often a difficult time.
    Competitive & Fair Rates
As a boutique firm, we maintain lower fees than some larger firms, and we pass those savings on to our clients. Our hourly rates and fees are typically lower than those of larger firms, without sacrificing quality. We deliver high-calibre legal representation with outstanding results and at a fair price.
    Contingency Fee Options
In injury claims, we often work on a contingency fee basis. There are no upfront fees. We only collect a fee when we recover compensation for you. We take an agreed-upon percentage of the settlement or award. This arrangement aligns our interests with yours: if you don't get paid, neither do we.
    Upfront Discussion of Costs
Non-injury cases are billed hourly. We will explain the fee arrangement clearly before you hire us. You'll know our hourly rates or flat fee, and we usually provide an estimate of the expected total cost. We also discuss potential third-party expenses (filing fees, expert reports, etc.) so you understand the whole picture.

Personal Injury Law – Contingency Fees

    • No upfront legal fees. We work on a contingency basis—meaning we only get paid if we successfully recover compensation for you.
    • Percentage-based fee. Our fee is an agreed-upon percentage of the settlement or court award.
    • We cover case expenses. We pay for necessary disbursements (such as medical records and expert reports) during your case. These costs are repaid from your settlement if we win.
    • 5-day cancellation period. If you change your mind within five business days after signing the contingency fee agreement, you can cancel without any obligation.

Corporate & Commercial Law – Hourly Retainer

    • Initial meeting: Will first take place over the phone, followed by an in–person meeting to finalize our engagement
    • Retainer: Based on the complexity of the matter and the estimated time required, you may pay a deposit, which is held in trust and applied to your invoices. The Retainer is the “skin in the game” and covers our initial fees.
    • Billing: Work is billed at the hourly rate of the lawyer(s) involved. We provide an estimate of expected costs at the start and update you if circumstances change.

Employment Law – Flat Fee & Hourly Options

    • Severance package review: We offer a $750 which includes review, written advice, and recommendations.
    • Other employment matters: This is billed the same way as Corporate & Commercial law.
    • Retainer: Based on complexity and expected time requirements.
    • Third-party costs: Any court fees or expert costs are discussed and approved before proceeding.

Professional Liability – Hourly or Contingency Fee

    • Initial meeting: Will first take place over the phone, followed by an in–person meeting to finalize our engagement
    • Contingency Fee: We sometimes act for professional liability clients on a contingency fee basis.
    • Retainer: Based on the complexity of the case and the estimated time required to advance your claim.
    • Billing: If hourly fees are charged, you will receive a detailed invoices and regular updates so you know where your file stands.
    • Third-party costs: Expert witness fees, filing fees, and other expenses are reviewed with you before they are incurred.

    Our Commitment to Transparency

    • Clear estimates: We provide a cost estimate at the beginning of your matter and keep you updated if anything changes.
    • No hidden charges: We will never surprise you with fees or disbursements.
    • Value for your investment: We combine strong legal representation with fair, competitive rates for the quality of service provided.
